My time as a Managing Editor
My time as a Managing Editor lasted during my last two years of being a part of the Quo Vadis. I felt like was my absolute best during my second to last year of being a part of the paper and Middlesex College. Even so, my tasks of being a Managing Editor varied in a multitude of ways.
The things I had to do were this
Checking headlines of every story of the Quo Vadis (during Fall 2021 to Spring 2022)
Checking the Staff List of each issue that releasing soon (during Fall 2022 to Spring 2023)
Check to see if all budgets for the Quo Vadis were posted by 4 p.m. on Wed
Keeping the other layout artist up to date on when the budgets are posted
Keeping up with the other layout artist if they get behind and discuss any necessary adjustments.
Send the compiled final paper to the faculty adviser on Sat. at 12 p.m. sharp. (Do not make the adviser ask you for this. If it is not ready, a report needs to go out at noon. That does not mean that your problem is solved. Not making your deadline may result in the paper not getting looked over.
